Neil Amondson is the Principal and founder of Hunter Light, an aggregate resources and project development firm. Amondson also serves as co-Founder and VP of NorthStar Transload to be the Bakken's largest rail transload facility for crude oil and import sand, located in E. Fairview, ND.
He has been involved in all aspects of the real estate development spectrum. Amondson, a former WA State Senator for SW Washington (1987-'94) has a "hands-on" understanding of the land use arena from both a regulatory and developer perspective. With experience in civil construction throughout the western United States, Amondson has served in a variety of capacities including Gen. Manager of one of the largest Urban Growth Area (UGA) expansions in WA State history.
Key to Amondson's success is the ability to bring diverse stakeholder opinions and objectives into a consensus based direction.

NorthStar Transload Stats
A multi-commodity inbound/outbound railroad and trucking transload terminal owned and operated by NorthStar Transloading (NST) serving the Bakken oil region of North Dakota. It is an engineer/procure/construct (EPC) project by Strobel/Starostka Construction, with Merrick and Company performing shop drawing reviews for NST and Ulteig performing resident project representative functions (RPR) to assist in observing the progress and quality of the project.
