  • Carbon Capture, Storage and Transportation - By focusing on carbon dioxide -- its storage, containment, and capture. We address emissions associated with the power and industrial sectors, as well as legacy emissions in the atmosphere, and we seek to permanently store and/or convert carbon dioxide (CO2) to reduce negative climate impacts.

  • Spring Clean Up - Every year, The Crude Life cleans their Adopt-A-Highway and documents other companies contributing to serving the land and being a responsible steward of the environment.

Mental Health Awareness - Mental health in the context of industry refers to the psychological well-being of individuals within a workplace setting. The Crude Life has been honored to support those battling internal demons and share their authentic stories across our network.

BBQ Tricks, Tips & Treats: There are many things the energy industry knows, but one big one is BBQ. There’s an art and science with heat, meat and time. For over 10 years, The Crude Life has been collecting tips, tricks and sauce-tastic secrets from the most energized pit masters in America – oil and gas workers.

Junior Urias won the title of Texas champion on the BBQ Pitmasters TV reality show in 2014.

July:

  • Energy Independence: The Crude Life believes every citizen should has enough energy to meet their individual demands while having a transparent, accountable community with a power system and infrastructure that are protected against physical and cyber threats.   • Cruising America with The Crude Life: Get your motor running… because you are going to need some speed for this feature! Classic cars take the open road, diesel trucks off roading and the feeling open air gives when taking a motorcycle ride in the mountains.

August:

  • The Great Outdoors: Every summer The Crude Life loves to show the world how Oil and Water DO MIX! From paddleboards to floaties to speed boats, without oil and gas, people would be still using logs and barrels for fish and fun. Take a journey with The Crude Life as we explain how hiking and hunting are safer with petroleum power.

  • Politically Speaking with Candidates: Interviews with political candidate about their platform, including energy policy, climate change issues and their view on Environmental Social Governance (ESG) regulations. The Crude Life does not endorse candidates nor political parties and will grant equal access to any political opponent we interview.

September:

  • Energizing STEM Education: STEM is a common abbreviation for four closely connected areas of study: science, technology, engineering and mathematics. The fields are often associated due to the similarities that they share both in theory and practice. There's been a significant push in recent years to fill STEM jobs in the United States.

  • Politically Speaking with Candidates: Interviews with political candidate about their platform, including energy policy, climate change issues and their view on Environmental Social Governance (ESG) regulations. October:

  • Honoring Hispanic Heritage: Hispanic Heritage Month (HHM) takes place September 15 to October 15 every year as a time to recognize and celebrate the many contributions , diverse cultures, and extensive histories of the American Latino community. The Crude Life recognizes the contributions of the fastest-growing racial or ethnic minority in industry and one of the foundations to the energy industry.

  • 2024 Election Guide: This year, the future of our families, the communities we live in and our industry are at stake. No matter what state we live in or the color of our skin, an amplified voice supporting industrial integrity and energy empowerment is needed. The Crude Life breaks down which candidates have policy that will aid and assist industry and which ones are literally trying to shut energy empowerment down.

November:

  • Empowering Native American Energy: During the month of November, The Crude Life celebrate the culture and heritage of these remarkable Americans who deeply enrich the quality and character of our Nation. Many of the tribal leaders are attempting to work with the energy industry in order to become independent, safe and secure.

  • Giving Thanks to Oil and Gas this Holiday Season: Gratitude is more than simply saying “thank you.” Gratitude’s amazing powers have the ability to shift us from focusing on the negative to appreciating what is positive in our lives. Practicing daily gratitude gives us a deeper connection to ourselves, the world around us, and to our Creator.
