Inside Jamie Oliver's Incredible Car Collection as Millionaire Chef Auctions off Three of his Beloved Vintage Motors
The celebrity chef is ready to serve up his classic Ford Capri after spending big bucks on the two-door sports car.
Jamie Oliver has auctioned off three of his beloved vintage motors - including a Ford Capri, a VW Beetle, and a Fiat.
The 49-year-old year old millionaire chef is selling his prized 1970 Ford Capri 3000GT, which has previously been referred to as his 'go-to car' and has featured on Jamie and Jimmy's Friday Night Feast.
He acquired the Capri in June 2014 and spent an estimated £20,000 (US $26,633.98) on restoring it, with the classic car expected to commandeer between £22,000 (US $29,297.38) and £26,000 (US$ 34,624.17) at auction.
A 1955 FIAT 1100/103 Series, bought by Oliver in 2012, comes with an original number plate reading '677 YUM' and will be sold without reserve.
Perhaps the most eye-catching sale of the three cars is a 1967 VW Beetle 1500 convertible, which is complete with a highly unusual add-on.

The return of the Capri name was confirmed by Ford when it revealed a new battery-electric mid-size family SUV wearing the badge in July 2024.
The new Capri – which is not expected to be sold locally – is the fourth-generation vehicle since the name was introduced more than fifty years ago.
Almost 2 million Capris were produced across three generations between 1968 and 1986, the Ford Cortina-based model serving as an affordable sports car pitched at younger buyers.
The first-generation Capri was sold in Australia between 1969 and 1974 – including the 3000 GT – with the second and third generations not offered locally.
The name returned to local showrooms for an affordable convertible sports car – a rival to the Mazda MX-5 – manufactured in Australia and based on the front-wheel drive Ford Laser between 1989 and 1994.
